I'm giving 5 stars because typically this restaurant has excellent chefs. However, they have a new chef and I don't like it when he fixes my hibachi meal. I'm not trying to be mean but I pay waaay too much for filet mignon for it to not be cooked to my desired specifications. Both times he overcooked my filet. The 2nd time I asked for it to be medium rare and it had absolutely no pink in it and it should. The 1st time we had him as a chef I asked for it to be medium, which is my preference but I knew he would over cook it. So I asked for medium rare this time. Both medium and medium rare should have some pink..not a lick of pink in either. He also doesn't add enough seasoning to the food. I prefer my favorite chef Jimmy but he's not here today. If he ends up being the chef again I'm leaving. He's had 2 chances with me. That's enough of messing up and over cooking my filet and under seasoning my food.

Love it here! Our second time visiting. The cook was super nice & funny but our waiter was okay :( she didn’t come to check on us. Other than that, food was amazing. In the picture Front: Spider roll 10/10 Back: Shaggy dog 10/10

Osaka Japanese Steakhouse is hands down my go-to for hibachi! Honestly, I think it’s way better than Benihana. We ordered the hibachi pick three with chicken, steak, and shrimp, and it came with rice, vegetables, soup, and a salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We also got the shrimp tempura and a chicken tempura roll, and both were so good and crispy. The portions are more than enough, and even the leftovers taste just as good the next day after heating them up. The service is always wonderful, from the chefs to the waitresses. They are friendly, attentive, and welcoming every time. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and they never disappoint. This place always keeps us coming back!

My family and I grew up spending every holiday and birthday at Benihana. The second we tried, The Wallisville Osaka…we never looked back! If I was on death row, this would be my last meal! It’s THAT good! The food and the service have no equal in the state! Jackie is the manager and he is just incredible and goes above and beyond. Jimmy is our favorite chef and always remembers exactly how we like everything. I genuinely could not say enough kind things about this incredible place to eat! It’s the absolute height of Hibachi dining in all of Texas!

I read the reviews and still gave this place a chance with my family. In my experience, food was delicious, service was great and the pricing was on point. We sat in the dining area not the hibachi for lunch. They have a Saturday lunch menu which I appreciate! There was so much food. I loved the bento box! Soup and salad came out first, then everything in the bento box. Beef, egg roll, dumpling, rice, SUSHI for $14? In this economy it’s a steal. I would recommend this place, especially during lunch. 10/10

Tried many things. Good options. 4 of us tried Orange chicken, miso soup, chicken fried rice, House Yakima Udon noodles, Super Crunchy roll, Gyoza, and Salt & Pepper Basil chicken. The BEST we all tried was the Chicken Salt & Pepper Basil chicken appetizer! Dalit was great without the sauce, but the sauce was good too. Then the Chicken Fried Rice -plenty, hearty, lots of chicken and flavorful. Then the Super Crunchy roll with tempura shrimp, crab meat and 2 sauces -excellent! Least favorite was the Udon noodles as the noodles seemed to be a bit ‘gummy’ in texture. The flavors were good on all dishes! We all liked our food and took all leftovers with us. Will go again and hopefully try different dishes next time. Personally with they had some different Asian dishes like Japchae, Pad Thai or something more daring. But that’s just me

Both the sushi rolls and hibachi items were delicious! I ordered the twin lobster hibachi however, and I wouldn’t say you get a bang for your buck. The texture after grilling makes the lobster taste more like shrimp, so I would just order shrimp, but the presentation was nice.
